P8: Present the new product idea to stakeholders
This is a video of me presenting my idea for "DropKick" to potential shareholders.
P9: Explain analysed feedback for project feasibility.
Here is a video of me receiving feedback and answering questions about my app idea.
The questions in order are...
I answered many of these questions in the video however one question that I thought needed more time to research and development before I could give a conclusive answer to, was the question about overseas development.
I think that marketing my app overseas is a key way to improve my brand name and make far more money. Using my app in other countries gives me a chance to drastically improve the number of investors and potentially brands that I can have synergy with. According to the business journal 96% of consumers live outside of America. Admittedly we are based in England, however there is approximately 5 times more potentially consumers based in America. Meaning that there is less that 4 percent of consumers around the world who live in England. Clearly this means that by utilising overseas expansion we can increase our app profit by almost 20.
(Pop. America / Pop. England = 5.88)
(372.2 million / 55.62 million = 5.88)
The questions in order are...
- To look into overseas development of my app. Different languages and different consumers.
- I thought that this was an incredibly useful piece of feedback. I thought that it opened up the potential profits that could be exploited and introduced many more levels that my app could work on.
- Unsure of exactly what you get when you subscribe to the app.
- Not particularly useful as feedback as it doesn't give me much to work with, I did explain in further detail the focus of the app however.
- The app needs focus. And who decides which brands get a place on the app.
- A lateral thought type question that really made me consider some of the basic job roles within the app. An incredibly useful piece of feedback
- Who in depth is the Target Audience and can it be expanded. Perhaps through pushing brand sales.
- Quite useful and did give me something more to think about.
- Slightly too vague, needs funnelling so that the idea is clearer. Flat plans etc.
- Like the target audience question, helpful in terms of future presentations but less helpful in development of my app.
- Could the app give you a fast track to drops and sales?
- A very interesting USP and further feature which ties in to the second question very nicely.
