P5 - Record an extract of the planned radio programme

I used video of the studio for UNIT 15 so here is the videos that I took which show a good portion of the equipment I will be working with.
I have two monitors so I can select my music beds and various audio tracks on one whilst monitoring the recording on another. However I elected to use only the recording screen and I played all external audio through my Mac instead as I am more comfortable with the way that it works.
After this I found my contributor and briefed him on what we were talking about, to take a large drink and made sure he was clear about the precise nature of what language is allowed. There is also the risk assessment that I made sure he has studied.
I recorded my Show through audacity and exported it, it was slightly too long so I had to cut a section or so out so that the show was in the 30 min maximum limit.

Here is my final recording. Unfortunately it overran somewhat but that could not be helped as despite the fact that I cut numerous bits out it was still somewhat too long.
The best extract is at 30:30 onwards. If you listen through that you will hear analysis that sums up the mood of the whole recording as well as a signing off cue and some music that fades up to mark the very end of the recording.
